   How do you find time to visit followers hubs?
   
   As your number of followers increases, how do you find time to visit all their hubs and comment?

   there is a always time for your favorite activity. any one who interested in reading and  getting knowledge on different topics has always got some time to read others hubs.

   I have no idea how yours or others followers are, but I usually only have about 10% of my followers reading a new hub. Therefore, I would say for the vast majority finding the time is not even an issue. A follower is like anyone else and is only going to read an article if it is attractive to them.
   Either that or I write really bad hubs and no one wants to come back! What do you think?

      You can check on Google Analytics who the hubbers are who  actually read your hubs, how long they stay on your pages and what their bounce rate is, ie if they click back immediately or not.  It will be an eye opener.

   For me, it isn't so much finding the time as it is making it a priority. I gladly give up hub writing time to supporting my loyal followers. They, after all, are incredibly important to your standing within the hubpages community.
   
   I guess my direct answer would be that I remain sure to give my followers their due support at the cost of keeping up my own personal hub writing pace.

   It's kinda like my new walking/exercise program. I personally have to work at it. Don't get me wrong--reading other hubbers' talented writing gives me the greatest pleasure, but it does take time.
   
   Therefore, as with my walking and Bible-reading and hub writing, I discipline myself. I wake up a little it earlier each day and am attempting to build a routine. After a month of doing this, I find that it's working. I set aside anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour for reading and commenting on hubs. In addition, throughout the day, when I have spare time, I do more reading and commenting.
   
   I've also done something a little bit more practical. If I've commented on other people's hubs for five or six times, yet don't receive the reciprocated courtesy, I delete their new hubs and spend quality time focusing on those who engage more liberally in a "give and take" exchange. Let's face it, HubPages is a community. And like any community, if relationships lose their connection, it's all about moving on to form new connections. I hope that this didn't come across as cold and calloused...to me, it makes greater sense utilizing the limited time I have for visiting with those who also give me the time of day.

   I usually visit my new followers hubs, read them and leave comment immediately. After that, i forgot who are they until i saw their profile page from their hubs that they published recently.  With 200+ followers in hand, how could i read each of their hubs when i can't remember their username? Only vague memory of their profile image could help me to remember and read their hubs again.

    It ain't easy Mary. First I look at my notifications to see if you have a new one, then on to others. I get behind, try to catch up, forget that great subject I was going to write a hub on and start over. Good question!

    First, I only follow those who really interest me... not to get followers, like some folks do.  I do work quite a bit so I usually do all my hub answers and read those that I follow one day a week for a couple of hours but I don't have time to read all the people I follow so I usually just pick a couple to read from that week and save others for another time.  I don't usually comment on hubs unless something really strikes me.  I'm not reading them to promote my hubs.  I'm reading them to enjoy them... If I enjoy them a great deal, I put them up on my FB page (with referral tracker, lol) but nonetheless... If I didn't have my once a week schedule to do this, I probably wouldn't get around to it.

    There is always a curiosity to read new hubs, but of course one has to prioritize work. Still I take out time somehow to read the latest hubs of not only followers but other's hubs as well.

    It can be difficult, Til..no doubt about it.   Especially for me, because I don't even have the time I want or need online, due to my outrageous real life schedule.  My hub time is basically, short spans of time.....(15 to 20 min.)...several times throughout a single day and night.  Back and forth to the computer, when I am able.
    I finally limited myself to a quasi-routine.....1st thing in the a.m., I check my email notifications and read at least 4 or 5 hubs.....leave my comments and I'm off to check all the "news" on my thread, look up my stats and if I feel any editing is needed, I take care of that.
    Later on in the day, I will respond to comments left on my hubs and maybe read a few more hubs by others....and of course, comment.
    If I decide it's time to actually write a hub, I'll do that in the evening when I have some "uninterrupted" time.
    Also, because it simply cannot be helped, due to the time element, if one hubber has 4 or 5 currently "new" hubs, announced in my emails.....I will choose 2, to read immediately....and leave the rest for a later time, when and if possible.  There are an awful lot of really BUSY hubbers who can whip out hubs, faster than I am able to keep up.  I have to deal with this as best as possible.
    As is evident, I am not one to leave brief, generic comments......such as, "great hub, keep up the good work"....  Before I ever resort to that, I simply will not comment at all.   I'm just not a "Quantity" girl.....I go for quality.  If I have read someone's hub, I can see what they have put into it....and IMO, they deserve a sincere and thoughtful comment from their readers......or, in my case, some "funny" response...to create a bit of laughter and fun.
    You are one of the more seriously productive hubbers, therefore, will feel more pressure, schedule-wise......and I'm sure that commenting can get crazy.  It seems to me that even creating a schedule for yourself, nothing is carved in stone....and we're bound to get off-course.
    Those of us who have gotten to know and love each other, as far as I'm concerned, should be comfortable, knowing that none of us would intentionally skip or miss a hub....and that eventually, we get around to catching up.   Remind yourself, Til, that you needn't read a hub the instant it is published......any time within a couple of weeks is totally acceptable........(I talk too much)
    Think of the TIME you could save by just not reading my COMMENTS!.....LOL

    I tend to have a group of followers that I visit frequently - these folks are my favourite writers. When I get my notifications, I look through the rest to see what hubs interest me and then go and read them.
    
    If you have hundreds of followers, no matter how well meaning you are, you can't possibly, on a continual basis, visit them all and have time to write as well - let's be realistic about this. I allocate some time for visiting hubs and other allocated times are for my writing.
    
    I understand why it is important to visit followers and give them the support they give you and I do this regularly and enjoy it.  But having said that, what's the main reason for being here on Hub Pages? To write or to visit? Surely it's for writing and most of our time should be taken up with that, or else what's the point in being here? So I suggest you have a core time, where you just use that to visit either the followers that you have a good relationship with and genuinely like their writing and then try to read other followers hubs as and when. The rest of your time is for writing. However, don't get too stressed out about this, it's suppose to be a fun site as well as for writing!!

    I get up very early and it is the first thing I do.  I try to get in as many as possible.  Not all of the hubs I read are by ardent followers.  I tend to support my supporters first.  It is hard not to do this.  I comment on about 20 per day..sometimes more.

    Yesterday I had a simple plan.
    1 hour reading and voting
    Including:
    5 comments each day
    1 or 2 questions each day
    A question or two a week
    I tend not to visit the forums - I don't have time to follow the conversations
    Minimum of 5 days for a week
    Thurs & Sun a hub published
    Followed by 5 - 10 comments after publishing
    
    Then something happen, lol . . .
    
    Today, more answers than anything,
    much less hubs written
    more recycling of deleted hubs,
    Overall I plan on 40 - 50 featured hubs (maybe less depending on Flow)
    More reading and voting
    shorter comments and more
    
    The goal is 3 - 6 hours a week
    2 hubs a month
    the rest is a stew of this and that
    or, the new process is being learned
    
    We'll see and maybe a hub sharing later

    I have to be honest, I don't get to visit my followers as much as they deserve. I'm wrapping up a major project at my full-time job and three writing projects at home so I've limited my Hub-time of late to answering questions or commenting on some Hubs that catch my eye. Once these projects are complete, it is my firm intent to spend more time on Hubpages to "recharge" my literary batteries.
