Can somebody explain the noindex/featured implementation?
A few of my Hubs received noindex because of “inactivity”. I can’t figure out how this is implemented. 1 hub had only been around a couple months, not enough time to make a headway into search engines. Another hub had been getting a hit or so every week. The last one has a HubScore of 82. I would love to get a clear set of guidelines. Are HubScores involved? Do you need to have a quota of views in a time frame? Is there a timeline for when it will be first implemented? I could not find any clear parameters on HubPages and am hoping somebody can help. Thank you.
Unfortunately, you will find a dozen forum threads complaining about the same thing. Staff has yet to give anyone a satisfactory answer. The idling process seems to be triggered mainly by low traffic, but as you mentioned, it also affects hubs that appear to be doing well. I can only suggest you ask in the help forum since staff are the only ones who know the intricacies of it.
