   Are there any other sits like Hubpages that I can write on?
   
   I wondered if there are any similar sites and whether people think they are better or worse to use and for earnings?

   I've tried Squidoo and Wizzley but didn't really have a good experience with either one. I couldn't make heads or tails out of how to post anything on Squidoo, so I never bothered.
   Wizzley un-published my first two articles there and sent me an e-mail saying that they were "not up to our site's standards" or some such nonsense... so I said "fine, screw you guys," and never went back.

   If you are looking for quicker earnings there are pay per project sites such as Textbroker, Elance, and ODesk. However, these are pay per project, not passive income such as here on Hubpages. So, whatever you agree to get paid, that's it and you get nothing more for that article/project and the client can use your work as their own. Further, there are plenty of writers that feel these types of sites pay little while others prefer having cash more quickly than they'd otherwise get with writing for sites such as HP, Squidoo, etc. Depending on the writer these sites may or may not be advantageous and that's something each must decide for themselves.
   What I highly recommend is that you stick around at HP no matter what other projects you have going on. After a few months of writing here I noticed my earnings going up and up. No, I'm not making hundreds or thousands a month from HP yet but I enjoy writing here, interacting with others (which you would get very little of elsewhere), and the fact that I am earning and know with time these earnings will increase even if I take a vacation or am not active for a long period.       Thank you. I am going to stick with Hubpages and am joining the apprenticeship programme too so that should be helpful. I write for magazines too and don't mind being paid one off like that as it can be good in it's own way too.

   i tried Expertscolumn and Wikinut. Both sites are flexible but not very good earnings. Their views are enormous per day. I could get 1k views per day but earn a few cents. I depend on these sites to bring in visitors to HP. Did helped a lot. You could try Infobarrel too.

   Yahoo! Voices (previously Associated Content) is an excellent site. Yahoo exercises a little more editorial control, but I think the Yahoo domain is stronger and better at organic search engine rankings. You can also submit articles for up front payment (for which you'll receive a few dollars). This is similar to the apprentice program here, but there's no limit to how long you can participate.
   
   The downside is that Yahoo! Voices doesn't offer things like Amazon or eBay capsules, which can be real big earners. It's a great place for purely informational writing that may not otherwise be commercial or marketable.
   
   Squidoo, on the other hand, is good for highly marketable content. If you write things that promote Amazon products, for example, then you could potentially earn a lot of money there.
   
   Personally, I've had better success at Yahoo! Voices than Squidoo, but I've also been a member there for years.
   
   And like someone else said, you should write somewhere else as well as HubPages. Cultivate multiple revenue streams. None of these places are get rich quick schemes, and you'll make the most income by making a small amount in multiple places.

   InfoBarrel is another great site to write on - and especially for earning with adsense...they pay a better cut than hubpages.

   I've tried Squidoo, Triond, Helium and Expertscolumn before.. But so far, I never made an amount of money. Hubpages on the other hand is great.. I've experienced pay-out every month.
