Are you making good money from hubpages?
I think I might be missing something as I have published 18 hubs over about 6 months but I don't seem to get much traffic and therefore very little return in money.
I try to write good hubs with plenty of information about stuff I know rather than put out a hub everyday with no content, should I try a different approach?
I don't think you're going to make much money with 18 hubs. I have 29 published hubs and have been approved in the hubpages and adsense earning programs for maybe about a month and I'm only almost at $2.00 total. I think the more hubs, the better chances you have of making money (you may need hundreds), and it also depends on what you're writing about, if people are searching for it and reading your hubs, if people are clicking on your ads, etc. There's many factors involved that we need to take account of, but I think at the end of the day it takes a lot of time and patience before making any sort of notable money on the site, but it'll probably be worth it.
Not really...over 50,000 page views total in a year and still only about $6-$12 per month...thank goodness I didn't believe their spin, nor do I write for monetary return. Unless you get a hub featured(or featured regularly), I do not actually believe that you can make good money on HubPages.
No one is going to get rich my friend. With a few exceptions, most of us are just making a little extra spending money.
I guess it depends on what you define as good money. I make a payout and haven't had to update much and haven't added any new hubs in months. It really depends on the subject of the articles, how searchable is your hub, what capsules you are using (i.e. amazon, ebay, video).
The hubs that answer a question tend to do better. Also, the hubs that have very specific titles, that target an audience can do much better than a broad subject title. The competition is extremely high for shorter more generic titles.

Hi, I'm fairly new here so you'll have to forgive me if my question appears somewhat naive. I was hoping someone could tell me, if a hubber reaches, lets say, 500 hubs, will these hubs continue to bring in an income even if the hubber stops writing for six months or more? (A never ending recurring...

I will teach anyone, anything they want to know on how to make the best hubs if they can just expain to me what i'm doing wrong that they don't make any money. I'm betting that this is purely a computer knowledge / fill out the right forms / check the right box kinda thing but I have no idea...

How many articles do you have on hubpages? And how much do those articles generate per month.?

I have noticed a great deal of effort put into finding the specific keywords to write hubs about, and pushing them into Google, among other places, to drive traffic to your hubs, and thence get ad views and clicks, etc. Do any of you who read this forum write for the sheer love of writing,...
