You have not seen any activity from someone on HP, do you wonder what happened to them?

I do.  Did anyone wonder where I've been lately?

I do. My first follower for "A Dangerous Romance" disappeared after a couple of weeks. Months later she resurfaced, only to disappear again. I still wonder where she went...

When I first started publishing Hubs, a bunch of people who were active on the site at that time added me. Many of them have gone quiet since then. I do wonder where they went.

Yes, I was just thinking about you a couple of days ago and wondering where you had disappeared to. Hope all is well with you.

Some of my really good hubbers who follow me and whom I follow in return have blossomed into super friendships. When I don't see any activity from them I send an email of inquiry as to their whereabouts. I've always gotten positive replies either saying they were away or ill, but they have all been happy I took an interest in them.

In the past when I have not heard or seen activity from a regular follower or hubber... I have made attempts to contact them, either through a former hub comment or e-mail if it is noted on their profile page... .Sometimes I get a response with an explanation, but not always, I figure they are just backing off for awhile or are pre-occupied with other matters....however..it has come to my attention many hubbers that were around last year appear to have vanished...glad to see you again.....I have formed some great friendships since writing on HP and hope to continue a long term relationship......Interesting to see what others think and do....

I've noticed the same thing kj, about a lot of the "regulars" not being around anymore. I hate to see that happen!

    Hi Rutley.
When you start getting a lot of followers and follow a lot yourself you cannot keep up with them all, but I do find myself attached to a good handful who I feel a real connection with and when they are not publishing I do wonder what´s up. These days though I am no longer informed when a hubber I am following has published something new, so I just have to scan the latest notices from HP and see who has published something new. I don´t always have the time to read everything from everyone I feel connectd to, but at least I know they are still out there and writing, so must be OK.

There are a few that intrigue me.  One has comments regularly on the only hub he has published and to my knowledge has never replied.  He has a ton of followers.
There are a few that I adore, and those I seek. Have also been guilty of following someone and not remembering. I do miss the one who was my DIY guru.

Definitely! I always worry that something bad happened to them, but I'm a natural worrywart. There are so many hubbers I truly like and would love to meet in person. And yes, I did wonder about you...so, how have you been?
