What milestone on HubPages are you aiming to achieve this year?

Whether you are a new or long-standing Hubber, what goal or goals have you set yourself for 2013 and how are things going so far?

I am going to improve my content. I also want to write about more things.

I think it really helps to build a group of related hubs on similar topics which you can link to each other. More hubs on related topics gives your visitors more choice and your hubpages subdomain more authority in search engines.

Reaching payout each month. So far I've made a little more each month so I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

I too would like to reach payout each month, consistently. My long-term goal is to be able to draw at least $300 from HP each month, therefore my short-term goal is to build up my content. I hope to have at least 200 hubs by the end of this year. That is a pretty big goal considering this is already April!

Smaller goals include refreshing my older hubs, adding original photos where possible, and adding some original artwork, and citing better resources.

50 featured hubs. I Know that getting hubs featured isn't as big an achievement as it feels, but I'm more worried about making sure My hubs are good, even if I never wind up being approved for adsense. That's another Milestone, but not as important to me as reaching 50 featured hubs

Just got approved last week from adsense. Also I completed my 100 hubs last week.

So just hoping to earn some good amount by the end of the year.

I am not after money. I want that one of my future hub be designated as "Hub of the Day" but I am poor at creating and inserting images in the Hubs due to limited technical skills and resources. I do not know if any text hub (with only text content) in the past had been designated as Hub of the Day. If it is so, I am sure I can do it. Otherwise I can not think of it in next 2-3 years. I have set my goal and I am on the job to realize my dream.

try using one of the free images available on Morguefile or other sites, the image page will tell you the image url (ending .jpg), copy and paste this url into the import section that you will see when you edit a photo capsule no editing needed!

i am trying to achieve USD $30 per month earnings but it is hard. At the moment, i could hit USD $15 per month. Any ideas how to increase the earnings? Are my hubs that bad?

peach -   Just looked at your hubs.   I noticed some of them are too long.   Most people won't read long hubs.  Some of your short hubs seem a bit too "busy" visually.  Why don't you use Amazon and eBay capsules to earn money?.   Good Luck.

My first goal is to clear $1.00 for a day. I keep getting close but haven't done it yet. My next goal is $30 per month. Then a payout each month of $50.00 per month. I am in the process of changing my Amazon modules to Ebay as I seem to make more from them.
Each day I am  trying to  share at least one hub (another person's) with my referral link.  Commenting on at least two hubs a day and answering questions as well. By the end of the year I would like to have 200 hubs and be making the payout each month.

You have done a great job breaking down your goals into smaller, more achievable targets. It is easy to get discouraged when you only focus on the end goal, smaller milestones along the way give a lot of encouragement!

I would like to earn a steady monthly paycheck, or at least a bi-monthly one. I would also like to continue my journey of improving my writing skills.

I can definitely recommend applying for the HubPages apprenticeship program to improve writing, learn more about the online world and receive encouragement and feedback from your mentor and other apprentices.

I am in the Apprenticeship program and in my fourth month. To stay in the program, I have to have 8 hubs per month. So far, I'm doing well. Though the program ends for me June-end, I plan to continue to write 8 hubs per month. That will put me at nearly 100 hubs for the year.

I would like to reach my fiftieth published Hub by the end of this year.
I'd also like to improve my traffic levels in general.
Plus, like most of the other people who answered this, I'd like to get to the level where I'm earning a little something every day. It doesn't have to be a dollar neccesarily (although that would be great!) but even a few cents would be great.

I would like to improve my earlier hubs, write 60 more hubs to increase the number to 100 and earn $1 per day minimum.

I am new, and I would like to get more people reading and commenting on things I write. I am mostly here just because I enjoy the challenge of writing and I want to learn more about adsense and how google works.
If I can earn some money as well that would be great!

I set a goal to reach first payout in May and I'm on target for that, possibly this month. My next goal is to have 50 hubs by the end of the summer.

Simply, to publish my first Hub would be a grand milestone. My muse is as silent as an empty library. I've found that libraries aren't as quite as they once were when filled with patrons.

At least 100 featured hubs (80 to date). And a payment every month -at the moment I get a payment two months running and then nothing the third month.  I have a feeling this is because HubPages keep changing things, recently Ebay and Amazon Capsules capped at two items.

    1. Alison Graham profile image93
Alison Grahamposted 11 years agoin reply to this

I think that the limit per eBay and Amazon capsule might be a good thing. On my own sites, too many outbound links to Amazon on a page, devalued the page in search engine terms so fewer links are probably better. Hope you achieve monthly payment soon
