Would you like to writte your hub in any languague?

I cannot see the problem with having a spanish hubpages since I´m a South American. It would oppen a world of opportunities for hubbers since other languagues do not have the same amount of competition as english. So when´s it gonna be??

They have a lot on their plate running this one. I would suggest that you find someone in a Spanish speaking country to start something similar.

Unfortunately it's not practical.  HubPages would have to hire moderators able to speak other languages fluently, otherwise they wouldn't be able to monitor Hubs for spam and rule violations.

I both an empathetic and appreciate what you are saying. However I defer to the other comments partially too. Having a very best friend in Sweden and 'Knowing' there are writing sites there in her native language I see no practical reasoning for HubPages to seek the narrowed bilingual approach. It in general is the World Wide Web as a marketplace. The natural flow with that world is English as that connecting language regarding universality. Dominance is not sought, only the practical.

Diversity is available to the individual author. That author has an option of two columns. One English and one a differing language. Creativity with both thought and those nuances of marketing, the senses - sight, sound, touch, taste, and scent (the sixth many say is inferential, of which may be a key for your adventure), and the basics of thought is a tremendous undertaking of any. I applaud HubPages, Gutenberg with their many, many languages facilitated, and many others.

Having a desire to move to Sweden to be with that friend I have ventured through a mystery of those specific servers interlaced by both national and private support specific to Sweden. Again, a mystery for a novice such as this hubber is. Sooner or later the 'Big Picture' is determined with commonalities and not specifics. That is the approach from this author's view of hubPages. It is just happenstance and circumstance they are an English Sight in an English speaking Nation as a central language, even though of many, many languages, especially Spanish.

If one was to venture the internet just within that marketplace of the United States or broadly North America one discovers a multiple writing sights offered, of which too is Spanish, while ranging from pre-school sites common on AOL, through College and University writing with specific to those institutions as well as many writing clubs. Those markets you seek are already available. Yet, Hubpages is not in that marketplace as an entrepreneurial venture. They are market specific seeking a profit.

Although a social and entrepreneurial venture their sooner or later for success of that type of adventure requires commonality. With language that again not of happenstance or circumstance, yet probably of historical significance is English with the advantage of convenience. In other words, though social, it is a business first, seeking a profit next, and offering a platform for those seeking those at a no charge expense. Kinda' cool don't you think.
