I should have made this Hub Earlier, Is it To Late?

I recently post a new hub, The idea has been on my mind and today is the day I had the time to sit down and write it all up. But is it To late? My hub will take sometime to stop pending. I think today is the day that I would recieve the most hits. My Hub http://josephrenne.hubpages.com/hub/Be- … th-of-July Is the one in question.

It's funny you asked this, because I did the same thing today!  I thought I wrote a great, patriotic hub and it came back as not featured due to content!  I poured my heart into it, but now it is pending again after some revision.  Guess we should have thought about writing these hubs earlier, huh?

I wish I did compose this earlier, Maybe even a week ago. I hope we get the hits we deserve.

My new one... Is Finally  Featured Now Really didn't Take all to long for me. Overall I have 34 Views and a Score of 70 With 12 Facebook Likes. All in about 4 hours after first publishing . I guess that isn't to bad. I wish you luck on Your New Hub.

You can always write it up and leave it hanging around for next year, no? It can't hurt!

Perhaps, 'the fourth of July' is a bit too specific. Try changing the title to; Be Safe With Fireworks: A Detailed Guide or Be Safe With Fireworks This Halloween. Sure, Halloween may be a long time away but you can change the title a few weeks before. Keep the same title now and soak in the extra traffic from your social networking and perhaps change the overall theme of the hub for Halloween. Or, as KL Klein said, you can always leave it until next year. That will leave time for it to mature in the search engines; Google loves older hubs rather than new ones and you should start getting decent traffic when the 4th f July comes around again.

I see there are only 72 other featured hubs under Fourth of July.
I feel it will be featured after its done pending. My hub Is Mostly about the 4th of July including personal examples . I'll rewrite it Under Something like Safety with fireworks.  THX

I did a Fourth of July hub, but not about fireworks, but about the day itself. I agree with Joseph Renne, I would rework the title to Safety With Fireworks On Any Holiday or something like that.

Just going to start an Entire new Hub On Firework Safety. Already on the starting Phases. Want to take a few good Pictures with me and my left over fireworks to make my Hub a little bit more personal.

That's a great idea, Joseph. You can still keep your fourth of July hub and make an entirely new hub as you are doing now. Looking forward to see what your new hub will be like!
