Why is it, that so many hubbers, write hubs, but they never seem to respond o acknowledge comments?

I have been around on hubpages and have found that this trend is definstely on the increase. People take the time to read your hub make a comment, surely some sort of acknowledgement would be correct

Sometimes I agree, there may be the occasion when it becomes a debate type of thing.

So as a fellow artist, be it words, photo or whatever! We are a vain lot, and sometimes we, even though we know we are the greatest! Still a bit of ego stroking goes a long, it inspires to even loftier heights.

That certainly makes sense when you have as many followers as you do. :)

I disagree with your observation. I think you are basing the spirit of HP on replying to comments (often wrote only to gain badges). Wouldn't you agree it's more valuable to go read that person's hub or profile than a simple thank you?
