Can you order from a link on your own hub?

Since random advertisements are placed on our hubs, is it "legal" to order something from a link on your own hub?  Just wondering.

I believe that if you click on adverts on your own hubs, you run a serious risk of Google kicking you off of Ad-sense. My advise is not to click on your own ads. If you see something you are interested in advertised, get to it via another method to be safe.

GF....For all the many things I do NOT know...I am 100% positive that we must NOT click on ads in our own hubs.  Several people, who either did not realize this, or tried to get away with it (which is silly, of course)  could no longer make ANY income on HP.....They weren't banned from writing, but made no $$......enough for you to know?  Peace, girl

The above answers are correct about Google Adsense.  Do not click on your own ads.  Google is very particular about protecting their advertisers and will suspend your account for a variety of different things including clicking on your own ads.

I have a couple of my own sites with very profitable Adsense campaigns that Google had suspended and I hadn't clicked on one ad.  The kicker is Google does not tell you what you did!  After some considerable research and a lengthy appeal to Google, they reinstated my account.  My conclusion is that they suspended my account due to multiple refreshing of pages.  When I would edit pages or posts on my sites I was always refreshing the page to see how it looked.  You actually get paid for impressions with Google Adsense and they consider multiple refreshes with your own browser as a violation of their policy.

As far as Amazon is concerned, you can order products from links in your hubs but you will not get any commission credit for the order.

Everything above is true, but if the ads are not placed by you/by that I mean you didn't apply for ad sense/ therefore you can click on them. It depends which ads are, yours or those of hubpages.
