It's all very mysterious and, frankly, I don't have a clue how Hubpages goes about its various ratings on Hubs. One thing though, they know how to grab us by the short and curlies as far as keeping us hooked on placing those Hubs. There's a sort of vanity here. "I'm pretty good; look at my Hub Score." Then it drops and we know we have to place at least one Hub on there to bring it back up again. I've watched this roller-coaster progress now for four years.
Still, if we forget about earning any money on Hubpages - I haven't - and treat it as both a sort of social media where we can write like this to people we've never met but who have this much in common: we love to write, and treat it just as a sort of practice platform, then we can't go too far wrong.
I used to bother with key words and all that sort of thing once. Now I don't. Not worth the effort.
Keep smiling, promisem. And enjoy Christmas.
