My email I signed up w/in Hubs is no longer in use.

So now this account won’t identify it for a new one.My email is one I haven't used in a few years, so hubs cannot send it & have me identify it for a new one- if the old one doesn’t exist. I changed it to my new one & it will not recognize it, what can I do? I did re-enter the old one, but now I'm having problems.
