   I suppose anything is possible with the right niche and with the right promotional platform, but...for most people and most niches, no, it's not realistic. It was pretty rare even before the big Google algorithm changes, and there don't really seem to be any big earners left for now. I'm a full-time writer, and I have yet to find anything open-submission that pays that well without really extensive promotion. On your own domain, maybe -- though obviously it'd have to be 100 to start, and build from there.

      Yes, choosing the right niche is very important because some niches tend to perform far better than others when it comes to getting traffic. Another important thing is to write helpful and informative hubs that people can benefit from.

   It's all down to your keywords and your promotion of the articles. There is someone on here who earns around $250 a month with 125 hubs, so it could be realistic. Just depends on your traffic flow.

      That is indeed a terrific stat that should motivate anyone looking to make money writing online. My goal is now to write as many good hubs as possible. Once I have a large body of work published with HubPages online, I will start promoting my work.

      Two hundred and fifty dollars a month certainly would suit me. I really have a hard time finding a niche, though, because my interests are so varied. I also allow myself to occasionally get discouraged, which certainly doesn't help.

      Well, $US 250 a month is a lot of money when it comes to monetising hubs. Honestly, It will take a tremendous amount hard work and also time to achieve that milestone. However, if you have found your niche  and write often, it is possible.

      SEO can do wonder. Good write-ups automatically cover SEO aspects and over time can and will dominate in the search results pages of major search engines for competitive search terms. It seems the target is quite attainable.

   Yes, it's completely possible, but your hubs have to be very high-quality and you should focus on getting them shared on social media but do NOT spam them.  The bulk of my monthly income here comes from a handful of hubs that do exceptionally well with being shared etc.

      Finding the right niche is as important as writing high-quality hubs. I am not good at using social media websites, but I need to really start using these sites to be part of a wide audience that share the same interests.

      I disagree on single niche writing. I have several niches and I do well by writing what I know the best and through high quality content people like to share. SEO changes constantly so I focus more on shareability than trying to appease Google

   Yes, it is possible, but it will probably take time for your hubs to "mature". Most of my earnings come from only a few hubs.
   I don't pay any attention to keywords or promotion.

      I believe that if one does write with the audience in their mind, the output will be helpful for all parties. I cannot seem to find free time ever to research keywords or promote my work. All I try is do my best I can when I write anything online.

      Freelanceinfo: Yes! "Do your best and flush the rest"-- see what sticks. My best earning hub is one I never would have expected to do so well.  Keep connected and see what develops. Like life, it is a learning experience.

   Yes, there are several writers with less than 100 hubs who earn payouts. I myself am in that category. It's not necessarily the volume of hubs, but the quality of the hubs and the value of the content. Some topics earn more than others.

      Great tips, Novel Treasure. Some niches attract a wider audience. Writing quality content is the key to success. I can write fluently only on topics that I have good knowledge in. I think I should concentrate more on topics that interest me. Thanks.
