On average, how many words does your Hubs contain?

I was wondering on average, how many words do you make your Hubs? Do you try to hit the 700, 850, 1000, 1150, 1250+ marks? Do short or long articles get more attention for you?

It seems that's about the average length of a hub from the answers I've gotten. :)

Thanks for the reply, I may try to expand the hubs I have before I work on adding more. I have several that are under the 700 word mark. I haven't wrote many 2,000 word articles though, may have to try a couple! :)

Thanks for replying, I'm gathering the mid to long size articles tend to get more steady views in the long term like you're saying, short hub = short term traffic. Kind of makes sense I suppose.

I just posted a new hub with around 1250 words, will see how well it does. :)

Splitting it into multiple hubs sounds like a smart idea, I may have to consider something like that.
