   Obsessing with mid 70's for hubscores and they are high traffic-what gives? Anyone help me out here?
   
   I have been working on each of my 50 hubs for days..I'm tired and worn out.  I don't need to have a score of 90 for my hubs, but a decent 80 would be at least decent for the work ..these hubs used to range from 90 to 100, over the past 6 months or so, I noticed the drop to 70's..I did no changes or anything. Traffic still the same..is anyone else having those problems? Thank you

   I've noticed mine are dropping too but traffic is the same if not a bit higher. I've also been more active over the past week. I know at least two other hubbers who are experiencing the same. Perhaps my hubs are being voted down by readers or am not as active here as I have been? Nevertheless, I can only guess about cause, just know that you aren't alone and the roller coaster does even out as long as you stay active.

   The hub score does not mean a thing in the eyes of all mighty Google.  It is just a number assigned by HP quality assessment process based on traffic and the quality of your hub.  I would not worry about it as long as traffic is good and the Hubber score (Author score) is over 85

   I am almost discouraged by the numbers! I never have had so low of hub scores that work diligently at. My one hub about Dentures hit the 100 mark about 6 months ago, now Its struggling at 73...

   HubPages is totally weird and clique-ish too.  I have commented on many hubs today and my score keeps going lower the more that I comment.  I have also noticed a drop in hub scores on my hubs.  Traffic for me is almost non existent.  I have no idea what it takes to please the HP Gods.  I have tried everything and nothing seems to work.

   I've been having the same problem. I don't understand how a hub that gets tons of google traffic, has 1200 words, multiple pictures, polls, and meets all HP guidelines has a score of 63 or 71. It makes zero sense. So I have come to a point of not caring! As long as Google likes me that's all that matters to me!

   I've got reasonable hubscores - handful in the 80s, most in the late 70s and a couple of 60s...cause they can be better.
   
   But even with 80s - I still have crap traffic....i think the most I've made in a day without amazon is 22cents. So, after 2yrs at hubpages...I'm almost at $40. Yet, I see people with awful grammar, obvious English difficulties (girls and guise......hmmmmm) making $84 a month after being here for something like 3 months. I did look at what this user was doing...seems to have a lot of contact from people in a similar area to themselves...well advertised hubs I guess.
   
   I don't think that hubscore means anything much than the Mechinical Turk who checked over your hub having a good or bad day? Cause it certainly doesn't increase my traffic having 80s! (I have one hub with over 10,000 views...and it was written before the upgrade to the new hub thingy (making sure you make the best article out)...I get about 35 views a day on that same hub, and am a little scared to change it to the new format, in case that completely stuffs it up!

   That's really ridiculous if you think about it.
   You ever take a test and feel like you just might even have "aced it?" Then to your surprise, your paper comes back with a "Bell Curve" C- ? That's what I suffer constantly.
   Now I'll mope around for weeks and kick myself for even writing anything at all, wasting my precious time and wonder what it is that I did wrong because no one ever gives their reasons why I must really suck at writing. Ironically, the general public of non-writers always seem to enjoy them.
   Frustrating to be offered no guidance nor reasons from the "grader(s)"
   When the general public can see that, according to your score, you must really suck as a writer - IT'S EMBARRASSING!
   When I hear people say it doesn't really matter, 9 times out of 10, their score is fantastic. Like Mother reassuring her child, "Oh, sweetie. No one will notice that birth mark/zit/the smell of feces in your pants/your shabby clothes/etc."
   YES THEY WILL, Mother!

      Definitely, your hubscore is VERY IMPORTANT.  No outside reader is going to read an author with a hubscore below the mid-80s, to them, it indicates that the writer is of inferior quality.So many great writers here have 70s hubscores.

      It is the ultimate Catch 22--I was away for awhile and my scores fell. I wrote two hubs and I am back at 90 those same hubs are now in 70s because traffic has slowed. I made $50 my first year I am making nothing now, which is why I write elsewhere.
