In specific, it is those that are shared again and again.. I DO read some that are shared by the author but not when they are repeatedly shared...it just turns me off...we should all follow our own instincts on to read/not to read...

"Showing off?" Every single hubber who is a social media member shares their work with Twitter, FB, Goolge, etc. it's called "Pimping" their hubs! Should be no different at all to share on HP!! Why would it?
Paula, only because when I clicked on H once for one of my hubs, it told me not to do it, that other hubbers frown on it because of the reason I gave.
Rachel...It used to say something about "HP not recommending" sharing our own hubs. NOW it asks, "Do you wish to share your hub with your HP followers?" It's up to each of us & as 4 the various opinions....what else is new??
Rachel.. I think we should follow our own instincts on this matter; to me, it just does not work...but if it works for others, so be it.

If you see: HUB by cam8510 shared by pstraubie48 7 hours ago in your feed, but instead it says HUB by cam8510 shared by cam8510 7 hours ago, or similar by a different hubber, then you know they're sharing their own hub.
Yes...there is a distinction...I DO share hubs that I really like and often if the opportunity arises.
