Are people less likely to converse with a low scoring hubpages blogger?
When I started blogging, my score was in the high eighties, and even reached 92 at one point! But back then, activity was thick and fast, barely a day went by without me checking in. Then, it seems I no longer needed it anymore, what happened I;m not sure, but I didn't do anything for two or so years. I just happened to come back, fixed a lot of broken links etc., to find my score plummet to the low 50's. While I can't see anything that needs updating, and there's always some-one searching for info. on the kidney etc. So, clearly absence makes the score no longer! ...
I've been off and on with writing on Hubpages for 5 years now. I have more Hubs than ever, and I've made more money than I have in the past, but my score is the lowest it's ever been. Guess what. I don't pay any attention to my score and just keep writing and updating from time to time. People will always need information, but I think what's now driving the scores is the amount of technology used to connect to other sites. Occasionally I post to Facebook, but scores don't often reflect the quality of the writing, only the ability to attract the number of views in my humble opinion.
I am with mactavers here. Scores to me equal Commercial Worth, and much as I would like that, like mactavers, I tend to ignore it now.
I really don't think that many would choose who to reply to according to their score. More about how interesting the question and whether it has been explained well.
I certainly do not.
It would be a pretty shallow person that pays any attention to someone based even partially on a HubPages score. There can be plenty of reasons not to interact, but the score is not one of them. That would be like not responding to someone whose last name started with "H".
not really. I do read low hub score writers after I answer their Q&A
But majority of these hubbers do not post any articles which is very dissappointing
I just got back from a 2 year break and my hub score remains unchanged. Maybe some of your hubs aren't Evergreen, but other than that I don't get it. I've never really understood how it works.

Just a quick question, when I first started here and was finding my way around, I answered some requests. Those hubs were really hublets as the questions were quite random and I didn't know enough about hubpages then to give a good long-winded answer. Those hubs didn't get many views...

The scoring system of habpages is either fundamentally flawed or purposely biased in favor of long hubs. You said it hubpages team: the more, the merrier, but I dont think that this is in your interest, or the interest of hubbers and other people using the website. To make my case, I used...

How does the scoring system work for hubs. How is it already scored before anyone even reads it?

Today, Friday, December 5, 2014, I am launching my 30 Hubs in 30 Days Challenge! I created a hub to track my progress and for posting my hubs, and you can find it here:http://easylearningweb.hubpages.com/hub … tivity-LogIn doing some research in how to embark on such a challenge, I found...
