Is exposure harmed by choosing not to hub hop?
I do not want to subconsciously absorb other's words/phrases. I do not want to be accused of doing so.
By choosing not to, am I being unfair to my fellow hubbers?
These things I ponder!
I do not believe so. In the past the Hub Hopper was much easier to use and navigate. You could "hop" until Hubs in your area(s) of interest came up. Now you are forced to review whatever appears. As a result, I do not use the feature.
Thanks for responding. I've noted several changes to Hubpages, but didn't realize that this feature had changed as well.
I don't think I ever hub hop. Since I started writing online five years ago, I don't think I've read more than 2 books a year. I prefer to empty my brain, nowadays.
I get it.
If I'm working on an article, I completely tune into the subject matter at hand; my notes, research, etc. and do not read anything else.
When I do not have anything in the works, then I'll do my perusing (with the exception of Hubpages)

HubPages has this wonderful feature called Hub Hopping or Hub Hop to flag low-quality/copied/spam content. I know some hubbers do use this and help HP staff weed out the substandard content. Here's one more reason why everyone should 'hub hop.' I came across this thread on a Google...

I was really excited when I saw this new feature because I thought it was a great way to support, get to know and interact with other hubbers...But...for the most part, with some exceptions it is a load of garbage. When I think of all the painstaking time I take putting a hub together...and I...

We've just opened up a new discovery tool that I'm excited about called Hub Hopper. It allows you to quickly browse through and read semi-random hubs that have been published recently, with a bias towards hubs in topic areas that you are following. It also has easily accessible buttons...

Whereas I'm somewhat curious to see how HubPages new experiment for helping authors get Hub feedback help works out on the Hub author end, I'm quite dreading it as a forum reader, because it's all too clear that the entire HubPages-focused forums are about to turn into nothing but these requests...

Do you include a copyright notice in your articles? Why or why not?I never do this, but I see that a lot of folks on here do. Just wondering what the opinions are out there.
