   Do you have relatives or friends living in Europe today? What concerns do you have today?
   
   I do!! Sharing is I have a Dearest Best Friend & other Friends living in Sweden & elsewhere; e.g friends from HP in the UK. Here in the U.S. & possibly elsewhere there 'may' be a feeling of comfort regarding terrorism? Perhaps it is more an inconvenience using TSA as an example. We may view the activities in Europe with the eye of a big picture HD-TV? I was stunned . . . stopped short in my tracks . . . perplexed feeling completely lost with a recent email from that Dearest Best Friend. Here I sit and the the Paris incident knocked on her door. I don't know how to offer comfort??

   I have a few relatives in Germany. I haven't thought to reach out to them until now. Since I'm American, they're probably expecting the verbal diarrhea of "thoughts and prayers" that American politicians throw all over the place. I'll start with "Je Suis Paris" (We are Parisians) instead.

   I live in Europe. But let's be realistic here - the amount of annual deaths in car accidents is much higher. It is still more likely to be killed in a car crash than by a terrorist bullet.
   
   In a certain sense are we all terrorizing eachother with our cars. And the reason for it that we 'just' want to move from A to B. There's not even an idealistic principle underneath this activity. We just go to the shopping mall or to the grocery or whatever. We see car accidents as collateral damage.
   
   Some way or another we all just accepted it, because it is part of our daily lives. We got used to it. What happened in Paris is something new.
   
   Europe gets flooded by immigrants from Syria, and this is a much more serious human crisis than anything else. Winter is coming for all these people. They are already dying by the hundreds. Who is going to take care for them?

   I live in Europe and have family and friends living here. Right now, I am worried about the number of refugees crossing borders, what they are going to do through the coming winter, how many of them are sleeper terrorists and what the EU is going to do about it.

   I live in Europe, have lived in Hungary, now studying in Britain. Shocking, these events are indeed, and they are in direct relation with the recent scenes and the escalation of hostilities.
   
   However, as mentioned in other comments, don't forget that more people died in 2001 Britain by falling over while pulling up socks than people died from terrorism during the last decade.
   
   Not to underestimate the weight of the victims and the tragedy itself, but terrorism /does/ have a purpose. And this purpose is to create terror. The best way to handle the issue (which as a European is my biggest concern) would be to stop talking about the terrorists and highlight the victims instead, remember them, and go on steadfast without breaking. The more chaos they create, the more effective they'll consider themselves.

   Both, my friends and a blood relatives live in several countries of Europe, and all I can do to pray for them and urge them to consolidate, families and/or friends- neighborhood. Thousands  of those  undocumented "invaders"   marching daily through their countries, behaving violently, taking what they want , raping on increase , taking possession of peoples  residence throwing owners out ( elderly and single)... What concerns me most is unwillingness of many governments to protect integrity and sovereignty of their particular regions ...
