What the heck is going on with hub traffic?

In the last two weeks my hub weekly shows a dramatic decline in hub and profile views - by negative 12 and 19 percent. This has never happened to this degree. Anyone else having this problem? Could this have to do with the New hub sites? I'm worried HP is slowly heading towards phasing out individual hubs to gain more traffic with the specialty sites.

Yes my profile and hub views are both shown as being down substantially.

It's all part of the digital ebb and flow: the "tide" is out. Look at it as a learning experience. The algorithm rewards a little the more hectic energy and tweaking we give. All hail the algorithm or as I like to call it AL. This is an abbreviation of HAL from 2001 who is now real! Gday HAL. How about a little bump up on the ratings? I know you're there HAL.
Ok jokes over. Open the pod bay door HAL.
HAL u der bro? HAL !!!!

My hubviews were up in last 7 days

    Hub Views up 13.8%

My profile views were up almost 50% Of course from 2 to 3 is 50% lol
but there were 89 profile views in last 7 days

Who knows the reasons. I don't make money from my Hub Pages, if I did it would bother me too. I was going to try it in the beginning, the money thing, but after I read online complaints and saw how they moderate this site I felt I couldn't trust them with my money. I assume they are making money off the ads they put on my hub pages, probably why they haven't canned me yet.

    I found this online...interesting?
