Questions about Google Adsense
Hi I had my Google Adsense account disqualified long before I joined HubPages. I tried to join again when I joined HubPages but it was denied. So I haven't made any money at all writing Hubs in the 2 years that I have been a member of HubPages. Has HubPages ever thought of allowing members in my situation to use Yahoo Publishers Network ads in place of Adsense?
Thanks
Mike
Hi Mike, Why not post this in forum? Another best way is to send an email to the HP admin.
What were the reasons you were turned down for AdSense? Did you take any actions to fix what they said was wrong?
Oh man I'm getting questions for my question. lol I guess this is where I'd answer your questions weblog and relache. First relache I got my Adsense account disqualified because the TOS wasn't clear. I had a page with the codes advertised on a traffic exchange. That was back when you'd see that all the time. Google wouldn't listen after I took action to fix it 3 or 4 years ago. I figured that's why I was denied 2 years ago when I got my HP account so I just forgot about it.
Weblog I'm banned from posting in the forum for posting non-commercial Christian links. Actually they said they'd lift the ban if I promised (with all my heart and soul lol) to never post a link in the forums ever again. I wasn't willing to do that seeing I see other members post links, even commercial links in the forums. I was spending too much time in the forums anyway.
Actually when I posted this question about allowing members to replace Adsense codes with YPN codes I figured I was posting it to HP admin. Maybe I will just send HP admin an e-mail if they don't reply to my question here. Or maybe I'll just forget about it and go to a different publishers network like Helium or The Publishers Den. lol
Thanks
Mike

Does adsense pay attention to click-though rates and sales? My lens (now a hub) on king mackerel fishing only receives about 50 views a month. But it had a nearly 30 click-outs each month, resulting in 3-4 sales. I would have had decent earnings but the 'Great Purge' over in squid...

When I look at my affiliate settings, my google adsense publisher ID has "ca" before the "pub-xxxxxxxxxxx" number. I don't know where this came from. I'm not aware of these letters in other places where I've put in my adsense publishers ID.Does anyone know what this means? Thanks.

Okay I give up. I am unclear on how I actually ad the ads to my hubs so they show up and I can earn revenue from them. I have adsense and I created three ads on their site and they offer for me to copy a code, but there is nowhere on my hubs to put it. Are the ads just added automatically because...
