Heaven knows, I'll watch this closely in case someone comes up with an answer.

If you read the various hubs regarding hubscore you will see that there are a whole load of factors that effect the hubscore, traffic being one but not the only one...

My own checking of hubs that I "compete" with shows that the better ones tend to be longer, have many different modules, and many backlinks (both hubpage links and external)

What I would say about traffic to your hub, is that if you gain a higher hubscore you will be higher in the searches for a specific subject than one with a lower score.. I would also say that if you meet all of the requirements for a good hubscore you should get more traffic from the search engines as your content and links should be good!

Traffic to the hub  is one of the indicator of the hubscore, others would be quality of the hub itself, comprehensive hub plus try using all the capsules.

I'm sure there is a positive correlation, but the exact formula is not disclosed by Hubpages.

From my own personal experience it comes down to one main thing and that is high quality hub or hubs that you have on hubpages. My 1 unpublished hub is of excellent quality but does not meet hubpages standard for a hub because it is only 122 word count. I do not mind that because hubpages is allowing my 1 unpublished hub to stay on and get page impressions through Google adsense. They also see that my 1 unpublished hub is on Google page 1 and 1st on page 1 since September 2010 A.D. You need to just write really high quality hubs and that is the relationship between a hub score and traffic to that hub. Thank you.
