    My hub pages are considered duplicate

    In this connection I would like to mention that the articles that I submit in hubpages are the same articles that I submit in other sites like ezine, articlesbase, squidoo, articledashboard, articlesnatch and blogs. My pen name is rupunkel. This author name is used in other article submission sites but in hub pages my original name is taken and I dont know how to change it. So kindly note that rumani and rupenkel are the same author and non of my article is copied. Let me know what I should do for this if I have to submit the same article in hubpages and other sites.

    You shouldn't submit the same article. It's not good for Google purposes and it doesn't get you quality readers.

    I mean, imagine you're searching for something. You found a great article with a link on it, you click the link and you end up in a page with the same content. You're not going to read that again and you will be disappointed.

    I suggest you try article spinning if you don't want to rewrite your article from scrash.

    You should do exactly what you would do if you were submitting to print magazines, rewrite every article to suit the publication.  Editors are happy and you can charge first serial rights every time.  All you are doing at the moment with HPs is flooding the market with identical articles under different names, the checkers see this as duplication, even plagiarism.

    Just to correct MickS, the checkers see it as duplication, but NOT plagiarism. Plagiarism involves copying the work of others or sourcing their ideas. Plagiarism is different from a copyright infringement and differs from duplication as well. Duplication is not encouraged because Google frowns upon it for practical reasons.

    HubPages even points out to those alerted that they are not being accused of plagiarism, since it may well be your own work. Rewriting articles or taking a new angle on the same topic may be essential if you want to bring your ideas to HubPages. Just amke sure that it is unique as far as the wording and structure.
