Is the $8000 money you earned or the revenue for the company?
Hi Susana,
In the last amazon screenshot, there is around $8k in the revenue column, I was wondering if this was the money you earned or the money that amazon earns and will be paying you a commission on. Also, what are these advertising fees? Does amazon pay us any advertising fees?
Thanks, looking forward to your reply.
The 8K is the value of goods sold on amazon in that month from my referral link - I think I got about $350 in commission.
These are not advertising fees but direct commission for products sold. When someone comes to one of my hubs, clicks on one of my amazon links and then buys something I get a % of that sale.
The % ranges from 4 - 10%. Some items such as electronics have a fixed percentage (4%), mp3 downloads (10%) - but the rest of the items have a variable % based on the number of items sold. The more you sell the better commission % you receive.
I've been focusing a lot of writing product hubs because they just seem to earn so well - give it a try!

Have been looking at my adsense stats, and I have hubs that haven't made a single cent, while others chug along nicely. At present, 52% of my hubs have made me nothing. I was just curious if this was normal. Are others experiencing the same thing?

My adsense earnings increase with every month that passes, but Amazon has slowed down to a low ebb(from 20-30 sales a month to 1 or 2, and since Ebay changed their affiliate model I went from regular payouts to nothing in the last couple months. Is this just a trend for everyone, or did I miss...

How is everyone making money with Amazon on HubPages? Seems everyone is talking about their revenue but how?
