I have read the FAQs and am still a little unclear on whether affiliate links to legitimate products are allowed.
I want to make sure, before I post my articles, rather than go through the submit, warning, resubmit process.
I understand it can only be 2 links, nothing spammy and not to certain over saturated markets but otherwise, can I happily link to a product site that supports my topics?
Thanks for your help.
It all depends. Some links will be OK, some will be forbidden.
The trouble is, we have never been given a specific list of what is and what is not permitted nor to the rationale behind the decisions that are made.
On the whole though, anything that Hubpages has deemed to involve spam (e.g. popular concepts such as weight loss, products related to internet marketing and so on) is forbidden, regardless of the quality or otherwise of the individual product and the "spamminess" or otherwise of the individual hub.
