Went to log on to Hubpages a little while ago, and got a warning notice of malware. The notice specifically mentioned planetsmilies.net.

It specifically says "hubpages.com contains content from planetsmilies.net, a site known to distribute malware. Your computer might catch a virus if you visit this site. GO BACK."
You must have uploaded this somewhere. Can you not link to the image if allowed?
I saved the image on my hard drive and uploaded it directly from there.

Yes, it works. I just couldn't make out what it said on that small pic here in the forum.
That warning doesn't look like your typical warning for malware, though.
A lot of people used to embed smileys from that web site into their forum posts. If the site is currently compromised, then perhaps the error message is being triggered if you try to access a forum thread which contains the smileys.
I have the exact same message when I try to go to my Tumblr blog. I have emoticons from that site on it. If planetsmilies.net fixes the problem and gets rid of the malware, will my blog be accessible again? Or will I still have to do something to fix it? I mean, is there anything I have to do to it, or will it be fixed if planetsmilies.net removes the malware?

I've never had this problem before and have always used Chrome. I try to upload a photo or other image from my saved files and the Hubpages uploader can't do it. This is driving me nuts! Anyone got any answers? Please??...
