I'm just wondering the best way to increase traffic, my hubs have all got good ratings but just don't seem to be getting views, I've tried social networking but that hasnt really done much ... Any advice would be appreciated thanks .
From what I've learned so far on HubPages, the most important things are:
1. search friendly titles and subtitles
2. good content, more informative than competition
3. keep publishing to build credibility, plus Google values sub domains with new content, recently published.
It can take months, but if you use these three ingredients in your hubs, traffic will come.
Good luck to you.
Focus on creating search traffic. Write well designed articles with good SEO techniques. Also, each day make a backlink to a HP domain. Either your profile or a hub will do. Start a blog and link back to your hubs, and always ALWAYS share on social networking sites. Use a platform like Tweet Deck to summarize your status updates across the networks.
