    Hi, Hubbers!

My name is Lexy from the Philippines, and I am a new Hubber.

I have just published my first hub, and HubPages is asking me if I'm ready to start earning money from my Hubs via Google Adsense? It's actually a notification above my first Hub after publishing it. We all know that Google Adsense is very strict when it comes to application.

I don't want my application to be disapproved again? Should I wait for a few weeks and publish more hubs before applying? Any tips you could share?

I hope someone could help me out. Thanks in advance!

    Lexy

The short answer is no. You need to publish about 10 high quality hubs before applying. Avoid poetry and any other topics that would have little to no advertising value for advertisers.

Thanks for the helpful information, MyWebs.

Just to verify, it's regardless on the number of my participation here on HubPages, right? If I could publish 10 quality lenses today, then I can apply for a Google Adsense account today. Am I right?

I really appreciate your time. smile

My advice was specifically about getting AdSense approval based upon your content here on HubPages.com. I'm not sure if there is a way to link to multiple places you publish content or not when applying, it's been a long time since I applied to AdSense. I assume there is a way.

When I mentioned 10 hubs it was because I've seen various discussions in the forums here on this subject and the usual advice given is to have 10 - 15 published hubs before applying.

The more high quality content you can present to Google can only help you to get approved.

Lenses, on Squidoo, do not support user Adsense integration. So there's no point applying for them - they're not going to approve you on content you can't use to advertise!

Most people don't make more than $5 in their first six months here... so sit back, do some writing and ignore the money making side for awhile.
