First of all, sorry is this has been answered before, but I've had a look through the forum and can't find what I'm after.
So when I create a hub and I use the linking tool when editing text, I get a list of my own hubs that i can link to. Why is it that some of them show up in blue whereas some are black. I have always wondered this, is linking to the black ones a bad idea? What is the difference between the two? Does anyone know?
I'll hazard a guess that it's to point out best suggestions as being 'related' to 'no relation' to the topic of the hub. No idea, just a guess and didn't notice color differences either. Maybe I should pay attention more
The thing is though those suggested links only show up if they are related. So I don't think that can be it. Still non the wiser so far.
Is one a clicked link, and one a non clicked link?
The links that you've clicked turned from blue to black.

I was just on my account page and some hubs are listed in purple. What does this mean? Thanks.

Hello, I clicked on my RSS feed for the first time ever today, and the list of articles showing belong to someone else. The headline said LaMamaLolis Feed but none of my stuff- admittedly not much!- was under it. This...

In a word: adverts! I was just looking at some older hubs and realised I have lots of Amazon and eBay ads alongside the text or in blocks. I remember doing this now having seen some past high-earner Hubbers having lots...

I am working on one of my new websites - and I want to link back to my hubs here. How many times is this OK to do on a website page before it is overkill?

I'm sure I'm not alone in this. When I open a page I do not want it to start talking to me or playing music unless I press play. I really hate those adverts that are like a TV advert and appear on the page, and start...

Is there any value in linking to your own hubs within OTHER hubs and your profile page, in terms of search engine page ranking? Any advantage at all? I've seen a lot of people do this.If this is a silly...
