New Thumbs up/down on answers to questions

    Noticed the + and - symbols for rating answers on questions has been replaced with the thumbs up and thumbs down icons.

    Better, worse, or who cares?

    DYK? In the gladiator arena of Rome, the thumbs up was the kill signal and the thumbs down was 'let him live', as in put your weapon down. Hollywood got it backwards and it's been with us ever since.

    DYK? the thumbs up sign in Iraq is the same as the middle finger in the US? When I saw the picture in Time magazine of all the little kids giving the thumbs up sign with mischievous smirks, I knew the photographer had no idea.

    I think most people will know that HP is in N America therefore will have their 'society norms' practiced smile and hopefully, take no offence other than to think we're strange? but who isn't lol
