    Hey guys,

I'm new here. I'd like to use hubpages to generate some traffic to my affiliate link but I don't want my hubs to be rejected as overly promotional.

How can I make this work? How do I promote my affiliate link on HubPages without being overly promotional? How do you do it?

    Thanks!

I think the days are gone when one uses content sites to promote other sites. Google panda pretty much stopped that. As a result of Panda, most content sites now want only original content, and the content is not supposed to promote a product so much as provide interesting content for readers.

My Hub was moderated for being overly promotional; what does that mean?

Purely promotional offers and Hubs designed only to promote other sites or businesses are not allowed. In particular, the following actions are likely to get your Hubs identified as overly promotional:

including more than 2 links to any one domain
