I just have been notified of a "violation" in one of my hubs saying that it is receiving traffic from a traffic exchange.
I'm really confused, because I didn't do anything that could have resulted to this. Plus, it's not even getting some traffic (about 20+ views per month). I'm just worried, because I don't know what to do.
I don't even know how it happened, so I have no idea how to correct it.
I need your expertise on this guys.
Thank you very much!
If you look at the traffic source column for the particular hub you should be given a list of sources. There are the obvious ones such as Google.com, however, if there are any you do not recognise look them up on the internet to see who they are. This should give you some idea as to whether they are traffic exchanges. If you have not posted the link there yourself, try contacting them and asking them to remove the link.
I'm thinking that maybe this is because of a glitch in Hubpages.
I just took a look at my traffic sources, and saw this:
It's really impossible to get negative views, and definitely, I can't achieve those number of views in a day.
Could this be it?
This is a glitch and most of the views are from sites that HP filters have blocked............
