My Adsense CTR is very poor. What may be the reason? Can anyone suggest something to make it high?
Is it for HPads ?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
If you're using HPADS and not adsense as your primary tool, then be advised that the ad positions showing up under your adsense are, unless I'm mistaken, poorly placed ones, and not the highly converting ones (which are reserved for the HPADS).
Since the new layout changes on HP you should expect almost no Adsense income whatsoever. The direct paying Adsensead is now the one at the very bottom of the page on the right hand side of the main page (no longer the ad that was in the sidebar).
This ad is located after the comments, and I can't imagine many people scrolling down there to click the ad, after passing so many other ads on the page. Would you click that ad?

So, long story short I was chosen to be a part of the beta for the new HubPages ad program (for reasons beyond my ken) and really want to let everyone know there is nothing to worry about. We're free to talk about it...
