Duplicate material

I have read the policy about the duplicate material, but I still have some questions. I collect poems and quotes, famous quotes and poems, so, I understand that some of it might be already published somewhere, and I do not want to publish material which is already somewhere on the web, however I would like to share the quotes I have. My question is, how do I check if my material is duplicate to another article somewhere on the web or not? Also, when writing a book review, would listing contents, listing the name of each chapter, be considered a duplicate material? Thank you!

Only a certain percentage of content (generally 10-15%) can be found as duplicate, anything more and you'll trip the filters. You can type a phrase from the content into a search engine to see if it occurs elsewhere online.
