When "fixing" hubs I often have to exit out of the edit page to check my hubmetric stats for word count - why isn't there an option to see your word count while in edit mode? Or am I missing it?
Yes, I know I can copy and paste into Word and check word count but that's even more time consuming.
I often write my article in Word to start with...then edit, re-arrange, save, go back later with fresh eyes...etc...then simply paste the sections into the capsules, and I'm done, AND I can have as many ongoing word counts as I like.
There is a word count on the text capsule. See attached screen shot where I have highlighted the word count in a red rectangle (top left).
Is this sufficient? It does not give a total Hub word count, but does give a count for the capsule that is producing most of your word count.

I was thinking it may be useful to include the Word Count and View Duration in the Stats Report. I find these two things useful for helping me decide where I need to focus on updating old hubs. Right now I need to go...

what text actually counts towards your hub's word count? I know the words in the text capsule count, but how about rss feeds, news, links, polls, etc.? Is this text included in the word count?
