I tried to set up an account with Amazon and they declined me because I don't have a URL.  Please advise me on how to go about setting that up.

It's been so long that I don't remember and they're no doubt doing it differently now anyway. All I can think of is that did you try to do it from https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affiliate/ ?

      Your URL is "cheers123.hubpages.com"

As to whether you include "http://" at front and/or a "/" at the end, each website can be different as to how they want their little boxes filled out. Hopefully, Amazon will provide an example. smile

I am starting my first hub.  Can anybody  explain to me what it means when it asks you to pick 2 tags?

They are just keywords you use in your hubs. If you are writing a hub on Making great Christmas gift baskets for men then your tags might be Christmas gifts, gifts for men, Christmas gifts for men, gift basket ideas for men, how to make gift baskets.....
