I was really surprised and dismayed to see an advert for "Chat and See Pretty Thai Girls" in the top ad position (carousel?) on my profile, and the profile of several other hubbers. It was alternating with ads for Trade Gold and Netflix.
Ads like that are barely one step away from sleazy hook-up sites.
When did this type of ad become acceptable on HubPages. It's bad enough I get spammed with ads for "local singles" on both gmail and hotmail courtesy Google- now these tasteless ads are here on a "respectable" writing site.
I agree I checked my adsense and found 0% for ads showing in different categories and a +10% for 'dating' ads. I was sitting there, do I even want to know what this means?
I saw a flat-out slot machine, gambling ad on one of my questions. And as far as I know, questions still only have Google ads.
