...trawl other forums with the sole intention of discrediting a website, company or stock so that members / stock holders etc. become disgruntled and move to a competing website / stock etc. that the 'trawler' just happens to own, or will benefit by the switch?
I have nothing against free speech - and everyone is allowed their opinion - but when it is done to undermine a business directly then is there a legal recourse?
I saw this often on some stock forums I used to follow - effectively trying to get others to sell stock and invest in a different stock...
