When asking for suggested links in my hubs, though I am pretty certain they're there, I see none! Am I nutz, or did something change??

When I write an article I am asked to 'suggest links'. Recently I have seen a few of my own articles appear when I am suggesting links. Is it acceptable to link to your own hubs when suggesting links?
