I am currently having difficulty loading and publishing my latest hub.
<link snipped>
Could the problem be addressed?
You are not allowed to post your hub links in the forums so I suggest removing it.
That hub is currently unpublished. I guess it's permitted.
Yes it is unpublished now but what happens to the link when the hub becomes published? How long before the hub is published.....a day or two then the link becomes live?
HubPages has that much discernment. Or don't they?
Are you familiar with the HP rules at all? I noticed you were new but I do wonder if you joined the site before under a different profile?
Should we better discuss that issue in the 'Religion and Philosophy' forum? Because you seeming have a belief that I "joined the site before under a different profile".
No I don't. I just wondered if you are an experienced hubber or really a newbie since you seem to know the rules more than I do.
Notice that the moderators have removed the link above. The rules stand that no one is to place their hub links in the forums unless it is the Extreme hub makeover forum or if staff specifically ask you to. Whether it be a published or unpublished hub.
It's not the matter of knowing 'more', but a issue of simple calculations. Common sense.
And, you must have noticed that the moderators snipped the link after getting aware of the technical issue.
For that, you have to wait till someone is banned for posting a link to his hub.
There you go again, you have been around longer than you make out, I think you are a staff member or moderator in disguise. 5 days is too short a time for you to be so versed on what the HP rules are. So since you know so much why don't you proceed to educate me on what happens when links are placed in the forums?
And why don't you tell me what happens when anyone reports a violation and that violation is heeded in minutes? People don't get banned for posting links unless they do it repeatedly.
I also know for a fact because I was the one who reported the link.
Cardisa, you are right about the link, should not be in forums published or not.
Not really but whenever I have problem with an unpublished hub I always email them. I had a violation alert on my unpublished hub recently and I knew it was a glitch so I emailed them. The alert went away on its own but they did take a look at the hub. I assure you that they will find the problem and let you know. It could also be a browser problem. Have you cleared your browser cache recently?
Thanks, I have emailed them and cleared my cache. Will wait for them to resolve the issue.
I loved reading all the replies. So many people here seem to be so knowledgable and it's helpful to read their comments.

Hi all - its been a while since I've been on the forums. I'd love to see a new feature that would allow us to schedule a hub to be published. When editing a hub, the score tends to drop a bit, and I would love to be able to press publish, but allow it to continue...

I hope someone can help before I have to throw away a hub that took me 6 hours to produce. It is marked "unpublished for duplication" for no reason that I can discern. Every single word and sentence came from my own head and has never been published online (or anywhere else for that...

Hubpages have developed a habit of keeping unpublishing my hubs for "linking to prohibited sites" - However, the particular hub in question which keeps repeatedly being unpublished does NOT contain any links whatsoever! It has been submitted, re-approved and then unpublished again...

One or two of my hubs have fallen victim to the "does not meet quality standards" empty bubble. In one case, I imagine it is because the hub falls under the "purely personal" category, better suited to a blog. That's fine. I can move it. (It's an older hub...

We need an indication of what link is causing this error.Either that, or a list of sites that are prohibited. Expecting us to go through every link HOPING that we find the offending link is a waste of our time. This kind of message is not helpful."This hub contains prohibited promotional links,...

I have a hub I've been working on but have never published. I logged in to work on the hub and found it already has what is probably a script/site-generated warning about content on it.Should I submit to someone on staff at hubpages for review first if I wish to publish or what? I have no idea WHY...
