I have asked several people on this topic but never got a perfect answer. Can anyone tell me the fixed criteria to be fulfilled in order to get approved for adsense on hubpages?

No, because there isn't a perfect answer. If you want a different answer than what you got, either read one of the other 500 topics about AdSense approval made in the past 24 hours, or go ask Google.

It is however generally believed that people from India need to have a website or domain that is at least 6 months old to stand a chance of being accepted.

You joined Hubpages only 2 weeks ago, so if you do not have a web site of your own that is at least 6 months old, it is better to wait until you have been here for 6 months and then apply.

If you want to get approved to Adsense, you must have content. That is the main criteria. Apart from this, there are a lot of terms and conditions which you can read from their site. I am from India and Indians have to wait for 6 months for their Adsense approval. We have to be active on Hubpages for these 6 months, writing hubs(good quality content), getting a lot of view and then you can confidently send an application for approval. They will approve it within a week!!! Hope this helped.

I Joined HP  a few days ago, Adsense is working for me. I Have had a Google account for sometime now. You may have to contact Google and see if it's something on their end or contact HP and see if they need to fix something.

I'm from India. I applied for AdSense via my blog (blogspot) and got accepted. Please note that the blog was around for nearly 2 years so I didn't have to wait that much for approval. Normally you will have to wait for 6 months if your blog is new and until you have enough content in them.

Had this same question. I applied for Adsense but they rejected me. I gather that I'm supposed to make a bunch of hubs and be on here for 6 months before I apply again??

This 6 months rule is basically for Indians. But yes, you need to have a bunch of quality hubs with good amount of views before applying.

The six months rule applies to India, Pakistan, China, the Philippines, several African countries, not sure where else.

I was turned down when I first applied, because I didn't understand that you had to fall into a certain criteria and had applied after only after having a couple of hubs and very few followrs.  Once I reached 10 hubs and about 20 - 25  or so followers I applied again and this time I was approved.

Great news. Sadly I will have to wait for 6 months as I am from India.

Thank you. I was wondering why some people seem to be were approved immediately but others (like myself) were rejected numerous times.

    Gagan,

For us Indians we need to have minimum 6 months old account to get an adsense approval. You need to wait for some months. If you have any other website (which you own) you can try through that.

Jmillis, it would be best to tell Hubpages team about this problem.

Did you follow the correct instructions to apply for HubPages or did you just go and sign up direct?
