Ads disabled on pregnancy and childbirth hub

Is this a no go topic anymore?

I've had ads disabled on my 2 year old hub about pregnancy and childbirth.

It's a hugely detailed hub - probably too big and should have been broken down into 16 million hubs a long time ago.

I wrote to staff 24 hours ago and have had no response.

What on that hub upsets Google advertisers?

Is it the childbirth videos that came from Google-owned youtube? Or what?

Someone probably complained about your childbirth video. I don't know about HubPages, but I know people are being banned from FaceBook right and left for pictures and videos about breastfeeding, childbirth and so on.

      Thanks Suzanne smile

That is shocking about Facebook! What could be more natural than childbirth or, indeed, breastfeeding?

Anyway, staff have just been in touch and reinstated ads. They said it was a mistake.

Hm. I'd love to see it considering I got smacked a while back for some science/medical articles I wrote. Granted, one was on the reproductive cycle, hormones and all that, but I couldn't complain since it specifically states that these are no-no subjects in the terms.
