computer appears to be blocking Hubpages!

    Hi folks

    I hope someone can help. I can access Hubpages from work and on my mobile. Howevermy laptop says it cannot  cannot connect. My firewall does not seem to be responsible, nor is there a google block.
    So does anyone have any ideas?

      Does someone else, with a sense of humor, have access to your laptop? big_smile

      Actually, "temporary glitch" is my first choice. smile

      Did you try accessing the site through a different web browser?  I had some issues with Firefox recently where I could not access certain websites but Google Chrome worked fine... might want to check for updates too.

      Could be you downloaded some malware.

    clean out your cache, cookies, etc and reboot.  But first of all did you lose your internet connection completely to your laptop.  If you have a router, turn off and let it reset.

    Thanks for the suggestions folks. In the end it was resetting the router that did the trick. Weird:-)
