Recently, hubpages made changes on how we can edit our hubs. I was just wondering and checked the FAQ on how we can re-edit the tags that we used before the publication of our hubs. It was mentioned before that your hub can increase the traffic of it by relevant keywords or tags that is used in your published hub. Now that we can no longer edit the tags in our hubs, how can we still increase the traffic of our hubs?
The Hub Tags were not used in any search - keywords within your article were. HP Tags were essentially used for internal searching and even that was abandoned a year ago, so they were simply cosmetic.
A long as you create content with suitable keywords and key phrases you should be OK.
i greatly appreciate your quick response. Seriously, i just posted about five minutes ago and a response came in quick. hub support is faster than i expected coming from active forum members. its good to know that keywords are still prioritized when it comes to traffic and i just knew now that tags are not the keywords for our hubs. thank you so much. anymore additional information is highly appreciated.
