I am a complete newb to HP and when checking my stats today saw a little blue triangle next to one of my hubs, so I see this means traffic has dropped, but can i get penalised for it? Or will the hub stop being featured? Im just unsure what it means? thanks
Don't worry about it. You will not be penalized for getting a blue triangle. They come and go as the traffic fluctuates. It's nice to see a whole bunch of red triangles which means traffic is rising. In general take the longer view. Daily fluctuations in my opinion, should be ignored. Look at the overall trend over a longer period of time. Say a year at least.
Actually, I noticed that when I have multiple blue triangles, my Hubber score tends to go down. For example right now I have 5 Hubs with the Traffic Falling blue triangle and my Hubber score has gone down 3 numbers (so far) today. I don't really know if it's a coincidence but I figured that was why my score was going down.
When I read this I had to go and check. I have 38 blue triangles (my traffic is always up on the weekends and early part of the week, down a lot on Fridays) and my hubber score today is 99.I do not think blue triangles have anything to do with hubber score.
It is about 3 am where I live. Since PDS does not want to make any more witty posts, and the OP is doubtless sleeping (she is in London so it is the middle of the night) I am going to leave this thread to you, Stina. Good night.
Just checked the account and we are having a blue triangle morning. Is it something we said? Why can't the HubPages genius team think of something consoling for these down days? A little note along the...
Why does my score drop one point just because I logged in??????? It happens every time. So maybe I'll just quit logging in and my score will stay at 83. Since google only recognizes hubbers with scores of 83 or higher!
I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their...
