When you write good quality content your hub will get featured. If your hub is not featured after the 24h pending period, this means it's has not been qualified to be featured.
Go ahead and edit, improve your hub and submit it again. just make sure you're writing good quality hubs and you should have no problem getting featured hubs.
Also be careful when linking to your own hubs in forum posts, the staff doesn't really like that.

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.
