So I was just pootling through Google today, looking for some worthwhile articles to link to from my hub when I came across some wording that looked *awfully* familiar. It turns out that another blogger had stolen my content and reposted it without permission or attribution.

I immediately searched for what to do and found a great hub about issuing DMCA (Digital Milennium Copyright Act) Takedown Notices.

I issued one to his hosts and one to Google. The hosts have just written back saying if the content isn't gone in two days they will nuke his content!

    Result...

    *flex*

    Nice one Paul.

    I remember my first DMCA.

I ignored it of course.  Cheeky beggar.  I had only copied part of his page and it wasn't very good anyway.

Of course then my host got involved.  Blah, blah, takedown, blah, blah.

I had to edit the thing and change every other word to a proper noun.  Trouble was it didn't make much sense after that.

    Anyhow.  Now I'm on HubPages...

Paul--wanna check for any duplicates of my writing? lol-jk! Just goes to show the value of the subjects you are writing about on Hubpages! Unfortunately, it probably won't be your last...Thanks for letting us know about this, Paul. Will you post again to let us know the outcome? Thanks again!
