hi can anyone tell me where i can get free images to use on my hub page ?
Most of mine come from my own camera, but I do use some from wikimedia commons and a handful from the morguefiles. They do have to be attributed properly, but are then generally usable.
Scroll down to the bottom under the heading "Finding and Using Public Domain or Royalty Free Images", there's a list of a bunch of sites.
All of those images are free to use, I'll get a lot of mine from there and flip them, or change colors for what I need. I've also read from a couple places that images from .gov sites are free to use, but I also read from at least one place that they aren't, so it would probably be a good idea to email them before you use it.
Also keep in mind that you can use any image, you just need to ask first if it's not from public domain or another free to use source. You'd be surprised how many people are fine with it for nothing more than a link back. Just make sure you ask first.

Just wondering, is it necessary to mention source link while using photos from search engines. And, if I do will it be beneficial for my hub or not?

We all want hubpages to be full of hubs that are informative, containing facts, well-researched observations, or personal insights in various areas. Yet some of the most popular hubs are, frankly, JUNK, IMHO. Here's...
