I know we have the table hub but I really need a spreadsheet because of the number fields.
How does Hub Pages feel about setting up a spreadsheet in Google doc's and linking to it from a hub so people can see what's on the spreadsheet.
The first cell would carry a link back to the hub to people can move to and throw.
You can link to pretty much anything, so I don;t see why it would be a problem assuming you can set a google doc to "public".
Yep; seems reasonable enough to me! Just make sure you have the privacy settings set to public in that Google Doc like psycheskinner recommends!
