Are we allowed to ask the community for votes on a personal hub that is in the running for a Rising Star feature?
No. the only linking permitted is in the forum asking for hub feedback and suggestions.
If the rules haven't changed since last year when I was awarded, the email notification you received says you can ask anyone to vote for you, including friends outside of hp. You can email them the link, post on fb or tweet. But it's not appropriate to post the link to hp community and ask for votes. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
